Wine aficionados will be familiar with A&B Vintners. Founded in 1998, they are one of the UK’s most respected wine merchants, specialising in importing produce from; Burgundy, Rhône Valley, Southern France, and Italy.

Working closely with a select network of vineyards and cellars, they are one of the foremost purveyors of fine wines. Furthermore, their collection is available to mainly private clients.

In keeping with their refined and exclusive appeal, A&B Vintners approached us to help review and redefine their online presence. Their brief was for a contemporary premium website, with the introduction of e-commerce, to allow customers to shop their extensive range

As part of the website overhaul, a team of 2 spent time with the client to understand their changing business needs and future aspirations. We wanted to reflect their brand philosophy in the website, along with creating a meaningful and sophisticated space that their client base would appreciate.

Central to the redesign was the introduction of e-commerce.  Allowing customers to shop the collection directly was a new approach for the client, and one that would expand their growing market. We took into consideration the needs of customers, ensuring that the website is fully mobile optimised, allowing them to access their wine catalogue on smartphones and tablet devices.

In all, the project took 6 months to conceptualise, design and build, and was delivered on time and on budget. This was a complex process that involved end-to-end design, but one the client was extremely happy with.
